All new PixCompare for Mac available
PixCompare 5.0 was redesigned from ground up. The new graphical results view helps users to find and delete duplicates easier than ever. The old list mode is still available though. A new, darker design was selected to better highlight the pictures. Also, the new version is fully compatible with the new macOS 10.13.

Use Video File List to find out more about your movie files, detect poor quality content, and easily clean up your movie archive.
myQRvCard – my first iOS App
Share your personal & business card as QR code
Pick an entry from your address book or fill out your own data and create a personal and a business QR code. QR codes are device independent and can be read from most mobile devices and smartphones. There is no easier way to share your contact information!
Both QR codes can also be displayed on the Apple Watch.
Please visit www.lakehorn.com for news and updates of PixVeew and PixCompare. The pages for these two products will no longer be maintained on this site.
Geiger-Müller Counter Project
A while ago, I decided to build my own Geiger-Müller counter to be able to measure radioactivity myself. After Fukushima, all reasonable priced counters were sold out, so I’ve decided to build mine based on a Velleman Kit. (K2645)
The LocalLink controller was my first and only chip design project. It was part of my studies at the ETH Zürich, done in collaboration with my colleague Alex Hueber.
The chip implemented the LocaLink protocol for AppleTalk networks. It was used to connect PC printers to the AppleTalk WAN. A total of 10 chips were fabricated in a CMOS 1.2µm process.
